A chance to shake down the cars ready for the Malcolm Watson Spring stages, similar tarmac, use up your old tyres,

Trevor Agnew on hand for some special coaching [from the 2003 WRC World Co-driving Champion]

Who is coming
Conor will be shaking down the 309 Gti ready for Bulldog
Russ Thompson in the new Clio Challenge car

There will be loads of track time, plus tuition.
A full technical briefing for those who want it,
lots of hints and tips on how to drive quickly, smoothly and how to win rallies.

Should be able to keep cost down to £55 per car too.

Bring your vans, awnings etc, get them all tested for the 1st round.

road cars are permitted, as are recce cars.

Hello,

Finally finished my 320is rally car, so am very keen to bring it out. So count me in as a newbie...

Also I haven't got any tyres yet (other than road tyres obviously). I am quite happy to do the test day on these road tyres, but I think especially if it is wet, I will jst be all over the place and just holding you guys up ;o)

Anyway has anyone got a set of old rally tyres that need using up, which they could bring along? Obviously I would pay a bit for the tyre wear and tear.

As the BMW tyre discussion is still going, on, I don't want to buy a whole set of tyres just yet, especially as I pretty much emptied my rallying fund on buying helmet, overalls, etc.

See you all next Saturday

Ingo

Hi Guy's

New to the forum and the Challenge.

I would love to go but any idea what time it starts? I need to be back in Surrey for 4pm so would need to leave about 1pm ish. Also, what surface will it be on?

Thanks

Tony

Road tyres will be fine, road cars will be fine too. Its a tarmac track, but 2 corners are pretty abrasive on tyres so keep a eye on thread wear if using your road car. Its a excelent place to burn old tyres off, get them wires hanging out hey Ciro Laughing
